The pizza a metro was born in 1930s, thanks to the idea of Luigi Dell\u2019Amura, a.k.a. Gigino. Cleverness,\u00a0 fantasy, intuition, hard work transformed the way of making pizza. The idea of creating pizzas with different sizes according to the number of people at the table was born in order to satisfy the need to serve more guests in the shortest possible time but with high quality standards. And finally, the Pizza a metro and the old bakery of the Dell\u2019Amura family became a big restaurant \u2013 the pizzeria.<\/p>\n

During the years, the Pizza a metro has grown, and now it\u2019s known around the world. From the 1960 patent, another important step was the creation of the “University of pizza”. Thanks to his talent, Luigi Dell’Amura has managed to start a real school that has radically changed the criteria of processing flour for the preparation of pizza.
